What Is The Difference Between The Hairline Tattoo And Cosmetic Tattoo?

Hairline tattoos are a type of tattoo that is only visible at a distance. Cosmetic tattoos are applied to your skin to enhance your appearance, and as such they last longer than a hairline tattoo. Hairline tattoos may also be temporary while cosmetic ones are permanent. Despite these differences, both types of ink can take on many different forms such as stick-on pieces or temporary designs.

Cosmetic Tattoos:

Cosmetic tattoos are intended to enhance your appearance and make you more appealing to others. They are tattoos done to fill in bald spots or for other cosmetic reasons, and they may require several treatments before they can be seen. They usually have some sort of design incorporated into them related to love or beauty, for example, hearts and butterflies tattoo seem very feminine and might not fit so well with someone else's wardrobe.

Hairline Tattoos

A hairline tattoo is a type of tattoo that is more difficult to see because it is placed close to the scalp, on the border between the scalp and head.  They can be in a variety of colours and sizes, but they can appear in several places on the human body. Typically, they will be in the hairline such as at the back of the head, sideburns, lower cheeks or possibly other parts of the face. They can also be applied to different kinds of hair like dreadlocks where one would need to see them at a distance.

Hairline tattoos are typically done in black because they are easily visible against the scalp. The tattoo is placed in the bald area to create a completely realistic and natural appearance. Whereas Cosmetic tattoos may be used to cover up a scar, they can also simply be used to fill in sparse areas of the scalp.

Know your needs and get a tattoo accordingly.
